At Human Impact Hub (HI-Hub), our model is rooted in community engagement, social inclusion, and sustainable wellbeing. We begin by working hand-in-hand with local communities, leaders, health providers, and development actors to co-identify priorities and co-create solutions that are context-sensitive, culturally relevant, and aligned with local development plans. We champion both People-Centred and Bottom-Up Approaches to ensure that often-overlooked groups—especially women, youth, persons with disabilities, and individuals with albinism—are not only included but actively lead in their own development.
Central to this pillar is our strong commitment to health and wellbeing as a foundation for long-term community resilience and prosperity. Our interventions are designed to strengthen existing health systems, in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Child Care (MoHCC) and local health structures, avoiding the creation of parallel systems. We provide targeted support, gap-filling, and capacity building to ensure underserved and remote populations access high-quality, inclusive health services.
Our integrated approach combines health with key community empowerment initiatives, including:
• Awareness and Community Mobilization
• Motivational and Life Skills Trainings
• Gender and Social Inclusion
• Leadership Development
• Women and Youth Empowerment
• Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
These efforts are designed to foster holistic wellbeing, enhance preventive health behaviours, and build the agency of individuals and communities to take charge of their development.
Our comprehensive health strategy includes:
• Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH)
• Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)
• Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) prevention and management
• Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
• Community Health Outreach and Education
Through this integrated and inclusive model, Human Impact Hub is building resilient, informed, and empowered communities, capable of transforming health and social systems from the ground up.
